Meet the Founders
Aalakshaya grew up in a family of fine jewelers, surrounded by craftsmanship, heirlooms, and diamonds long before he built a career in consulting and growth. Sonal studied at NIFT Mumbai and went on to work on award-winning campaigns for homegrown and global brands before deciding to build one of her own.
While pursuing their MBA at ISB, the two became friends over chai, Maggi, and endless business ideas. Today, those same conversations happen over Excel sheets, gemstone samples, and midnight calls.
MAYNE was born from a simple belief: fine jewelry needed a reset. So they asked a simpler question: what would fine jewelry look like if it were designed for the woman buying it for herself?
The answer became MAYNE. Lighter, more personal, more lived in. Jewelry made for everyday life, not just occasions.
